Water Treatment:CaSO4 added distilled water.
Grain: 13 lbs Thomas Fawcatt Maris Otter, 3lbs Belgian Munich, 5lbs Brittish brown, 1 lb Belgian Caramunich, 1lb Belgian chocolate, 1 lb Roasted barley, .5 lb Flaked barley.
Mash: 72% efficiency. 120 minutes at 152F
Boil: 90 minutes to get 7 gallons of wert @ SG 1.075
Hops: 1 oz. Columbus (17.8% AA, 60 min.), .25 oz. Perle (8% AA, 60 min.), 1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 20 min.) 1 oz. Centennial (16% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1028 stepped up from slant. 4litre starter slurry only. Sometimes I use a champane yeast for these higher gravity beers.
Log: Primary fementation 2 weeks in two seperate 7 gallon fermentors so I do not have to use a blow off system @60F. Secondary for two months 55F.
Carbonation: 3.75 oz. of glucose per 5 gallons.
Tasting: Pulled a bottle out of the case after two weeks in the bottle for a taste test. Deep chocolate and coffee character, without any astringence. Hint of diacetyl. Full dextrinous body. Up front chocolate sweetness gives way to firm, clean hop and roasted grain bitterness. Very tasty. If anything I would up the roasted barley to 1.5 lbs and mash in the high 140's for a lower final gravity next time.
I am going to let this age until the new year then fully enjoy it during the winter months.

You're coming off as hostile, particularly to Beer-Boi, who does not appear to be hostile towards you. Somehow you're interpreting his letting you know that Boomer is gone and not checking the blog as "butting in". He's actually doing you a favor. His information allows you to go do something, rather than checking this blog every ten minutes and getting more and more steamed about Boomer ignoring you.
This appears to be exactly what's happening. You're getting more and more pissed off because Boomer is not responding to your comments, which is not surprising given that, assuming Beer-Boi is correct, he doesn't even know they're there.

TR, dude just chill out a little it's all good. I can't be here 24/7 and as I said a few times before that I am rarely if ever on the internet on the weekends. If I do get on it's just for a brief time, ok.
There really is no need to set up some special email accounts if you got something to say just make a comment and I will get back to it when I can. I started this blog in part because I did at one time desire to do it, but never seemed to make the time or got to lazy to do so. Then when you came back on the other blog I decided now was as good a time as any. This way that other blog would not get cluttered with really off topic things and the brawls would stop, I figured that would make everyone happy.
I threw this topic out to serve too purposes: 1 to get this thing going and then I would add when I got the time and 2 to show you that by the size of the recipe that I am a hobbyist, a very enthused hobbyist, but a hobbyist just the same so I may not be the person you wish to talk to about mass production. This blog will not only consist of recipes, but other topics. Like how I got started or what kind of system I use or perhaps brew techniques that I have tried and would like to try. Hoping that this may spurn interest or maybe even helpful insight from someone who has experience.
As far as why your comments were not showing up there was a settings SNAFU that has now been fixed. No one was blocking you.

I'll tell you what Skeez said. I realize I'm a "redead" to you (I have no idea what that means), but I happened to see the exchange. Of course, you already know what Skeez said, but hell, I'll play along. Skeez came along and posted another one of his completely condescending, accusational posts, accusing Boomer of setting you up yet again, basically taking your word for what happened, and naively believing that Boomer told you that he wanted to hang out with you last weekend, or some such nonsense, when of course nothing of the sort happened. So Skeez accused Boomer of setting you up once again and really reamed himout for it.
Then , apparently he actually bothered to read all the posts himself and realized you were lying when you said Boomer promised that he wanted to get together with you. He then apologized to Boomer, requesting that Boomer take down his posts so you wouldn't read them, which Boomer did. It's a shame really, because they were two of the best Skeez posts ever and more people should have seen them. They were REALLY good. I was truly impressed. You've done a few really good ones lately too. Congratulations.
Anyway, Boomer took them down, everyone who saw them I'm sure had a hell of a chuckle, and again congratulations on some really good posts.

Hi everybody.This is sort of awkward but Anthony asked me to post on this message board to apologise for something he said to someone or the more than one person.He didn't tell me the details of what happened but I think it's sweet that Anthony cares about you guys enough that he asked me to post for him to break the ice.
Anthony is a sweetheart.I met him last week and he is kind and extremely funny.We had a really nice time this morning and when I came to his home he had flowers sitting on the table with a sweet term of endearment as the backdrop on the computer behind the flowers.
Anthony is running errands and I am helping him pack for his trip which he is leaving for in the morning.I told him I would break the ice with you guys and I know in my heart that whatever he said is really bothering him and he wants to talk with you guys as soon as he gets back.
